Name of the TIG: Mathematics Education
Aims and vision of the TIG: The main purpose of the Mathematics Education TIG is to share experiences and ideas among mathematics teachers and mathematics teacher educators from different countries to contribute to a better understanding of the problems that mathematics education is facing. It is expected that presentations, discussions and workshops can contribute to the development of a better mathematics teacher education for students and also for teachers (pre-service and in-service), whether they are in schools, colleges or universities. Teachers and researchers are welcome! The goals of the Mathematics Education Thematic Interest Group are:

Format of the sessions:
Presentation sessions: Oral communication 30 min. (including discussion); Poster presentation 20 min (including discussion); Workshop 45 minutes. For contributions: Please send a 300 words abstract, plus bibliographic references, to TIG leaders (emamede@ie.uminho.pt; blok.j@hsleiden.nl). Besides the abstract, also include Title, Author(s), Affiliation and email address. Call for papers and other proposals: Please send the abstract to the TIG leader before the 15th of February 2022. |
